The Skylodge Adventure Suites is a hanging lodge located in the Cusco region, designed for visitors looking to combine their stay with rock climbing, since the rooms are located more than 100 meters high. Its structure is made up of modules in the shape of aerospace aluminum and polycarbonate capsules anchored directly to the mountain wall.
This location and structural design allow guests to get a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas from inside their rooms. Also, access to these facilities requires going through a via ferrata or a zipline system, which demands a level of physical effort before entering.
Below, we detail the cost structure, the operating services included, and the logistical requirements to schedule a night in this lodge.

About the Skylodge Adventure Suites
The Skylodge Adventure Suites operates through modules anchored to the rock wall in the Sacred Valley, 400 meters above ground level. To reach the facilities, guests must go up using a via ferrata climbing system, while the way down is done through a zipline circuit.
The complex has three capsules made of clear polycarbonate and aerospace aluminum, materials chosen for their high resistance to the weather conditions and temperature changes of the Andean region.
Design and Layout of the Capsules
Each module is 7.3 meters long by 2.4 meters wide. To guarantee structural safety, the entry and exit hatch is located at the top. The cabin has six windows and four ventilation ducts, and is designed to house up to four people (with a total capacity of 12 people in the complex).
The inside is divided into the following areas:
- Resting area: Equipped with four beds, quilts, and feather pillows to keep warm at night.
- Dining room: Central area that includes access to a small outdoor platform or terrace.
- Private bathroom: It is the only section of the capsule separated by a solid wall. It is equipped with an eco-friendly (dry) toilet system and a sink.
Energy and Privacy
- Lighting: The lodging works with a self-sustaining energy system. The solar panels installed outside store solar energy during the day to power four indoor lamps and individual reading lights during the night.
- Privacy: Despite having clear polycarbonate walls for panoramic viewing, the inside has a curtain system all around that guests can unfold to block the view from the outside.

How to get to Skylodge Adventure Suites?
The hanging hotel, as many know it, is located an hour and a half from the city of Cusco. Those who venture to spend a night in the glass capsule will have the opportunity to have one of the best views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
In addition, guests in the company of the tour guide will arrive at the base of the hotel, where a short talk is offered before beginning the approximately two-hour walk around the main road from Urubamba to Ollantaytambo. To do this, visitors must carry a lifeline for their safety and reach the chosen starlodge.
In Skylodge Adventure Suites you will find the rooms with their respective bathrooms. Also the restaurant that has a small kitchen, which is inside a glass capsule, and an outdoor pool. All these spaces are connected with a Tibetan bridge through which people must move.
