Tuboleto.cultura.pe: New Official Machu Picchu Website 2025

Tuboleto.Cultura.Pe is the new official website for Machu Picchu tickets 2025, according to the latest announcement from the Peruvian Ministry of Culture. The new Machu Picchu ticket platform was designed in response to feedback from travelers, authorized Inca Trail tour operators and travel agency. The website offers two types of user platforms: one for travelers and one for operators.

Why is there a difference?

The official website, tuboleto.cultura.pe, was created to serve two types of users: operators and travelers. Typically, operators have more access to ticket availability, including permits for the Inca Trail.

For Machu Picchu tickets in 2025, prices are similar for travelers and operators and include all taxes. The main difference is in the booking process: operators can secure tickets more quickly through the system, while travelers need to create a user account to book their tickets. Below we explain the differences and how to get your Machu Picchu tickets.

Rates: Both systems have similar rates. The only difference is that tour operators and travel agencies must pay Peruvian taxes that are not included in the ticket price and are mandatory. For travelers, the ticket price not includes the bank commission.

Tuboleto.Cultura.Pe

In just under four months since its launch, the digital platform tuboleto.cultura.pe, managed and promoted by the Ministry of Culture, has grown its cultural offering to include six museums and archaeological sites across Peru.

The latest additions to this modern virtual platform are the Cuarto de Rescate and the Belén Monumental Complex, both situated in the city of Cajamarca and renowned as the main tourist attractions in the region.

The Cajamarca Urban Cultural Circuit now joins tubeleto.cultura.pe, alongside other prominent museums and archaeological sites such as the Italian Art and Pachacamac museums in Lima, the Kuélap Monumental Archaeological Zone in Amazonas, the Lines and Geoglyphs of Nasca in Ica, and the Chan Chan Site Museum and Archaeological Complex in the Liberteño province of Trujillo.

The Ministry of Culture confirmed that, in the coming days, visitors will also be able to purchase tickets to enter the llaqta (Inca citadel) of Machu Picchu, Peru's main tourist icon.

Highlights of Cajamarca Attractions

The Ministry of Culture emphasized that the Cuarto de Rescate is the only Inca building in the city of Cajamarca. Meanwhile, the Belén Monumental Complex, built in the first half of the 18th century, encompasses the Belén Church, Men's Hospital, and Women's Hospital—architectural jewels of the Cajamarcan baroque style. The facilities house exhibition rooms and the Andrés Zevallos art gallery, showcasing a collection of archaeological, historical, artistic, and ethnographic assets.

The Rescue Room is located at Jr. Amalia Puga N°750, and the Belén Monumental Complex is at Jr. Junín s/n block 14, halfway and two blocks from the Plaza de Armas of Cajamarca, respectively.

Ticket prices vary, with national and foreign adults at S/8, national and foreign higher education students at S/4, and discounted rates for people over 60 and active military personnel at S/4. School students can obtain tickets for S/1.

Virtual Platform for Convenient Ticketing

The Ministry of Culture highlighted that tuboleto.cultura.pe aims to enable national and international visitors to conveniently acquire entrance tickets to various archaeological sites and museums across the country. This virtual platform facilitates planning in advance and promotes orderly, responsible, and respectful tourism of Peru's cultural heritage.

The user-friendly platform allows visitors to register and select their desired date and time of visit, along with the number of tickets required. Operating 24/7, the platform offers a secure and efficient service, accepting online payments through major credit and debit card brands, as well as digital wallets like Yape and Plin.

Eliminating traditional queues, the initiative minimizes waiting times and positions Peru as a cultural destination. The Ministry of Culture emphasized that this platform establishes a unified system for accurate and auditable data, enhancing decision-making and the development of effective public policies.

"As more archaeological sites and museums are progressively added to the platform, visitors can access tickets safely and orderly," stressed the Ministry of Culture."
